Designing for the College of the Arts at Portland State University offers a unique challenge every season—each production or performance has its own story, tone, and audience.
For PSU’s production of “No Exit,” we explored a variety of possible directions before landing on an illustration of a room, repeated over and over in an isometric “maze.” The chosen direction was intended show the endlessness of the characters’ situation. Read a summary of the play here.
